Climate Fresk: Communicating Climate Complexity with Serious Games
Using Climate Fresk, an established climate card game, as the example, this workshop demonstrates how an IPCC-grounded, chain-of-events activity can support discussion around relationships within the climate system.
About
The main objective of this workshop is to introduce a structured, participatory format for communicating complex climate systems to the general public, with the aim of encouraging participants to explore how such approaches could be shared and applied within their own outreach contexts.
This workshop is open to all! It will be of interest to anyone curious about practical, structured approaches to communicating complex climate science, whether in research, teaching, or public engagement.
